Media say she reported breaking a tube with Yersinia pestis on Sept 25. Rospotrebnadzor calls it pneumonia of unknown cause and says tests found no lab-linked pathogen and no confirmed accident.

About 197 contacts were identified, ~189 under observation, with officials reporting negative tests and no symptoms.
