I just saw a tweet on hurling and it reminded me about the time the Kinlochshiel shinty keeper intentionally saved a 100 mph projectile with his head. Still one of the maddest things I've ever seen in sport.
One of the most brutal scenes in human history has been leaked.
An Israeli soldier filmed this clip using a drone camera while proudly boasting about the destruction of all homes in Gaza.
A moment the world must never forget.
3rd May 1916 - The Martyrdom of Tom Clarke, Patrick Pearse and Thomas MacDonagh
On this day, three of the noblest sons of Ireland went calmly before the rifles of the enemy, not as defeated men but as soldiers of the Irish Republic.
Thomas J. Clarke, the old Fenian, first among the signatories, whose life was one long act of fidelity to the Republican cause; P.H. Pearse, the poet-scholar of our nation, who taught that Ireland was not just a territory but a sacred inheritance entrusted to each generation; and Thomas MacDonagh, the Cloughjordan Gael, dramatist, Volunteer commandant and signatory, who carried the language and literature of Ireland from the lecture hall and the stage into the ranks of the Republic.
They did not die for partition.
They did not die for compromise.
They did not die so that the Irish Republic proclaimed in Easter Week might be reduced to a memory, a slogan or a decoration for respectability.
They died for the Republic.
Whole, sovereign, Gaelic, free and indivisible.
In the grey dawn of Kilmainham, England believed it was extinguishing a rebellion. In reality, it was lighting a fire that no empire, no treaty, no parliament and no generation of place-seekers has ever been able to quench.
Clarke, Pearse and MacDonagh belong not to the past, but to our Republic for which they gave their lives.
Their graves in Arbour Hill are not monuments to defeat, but altars of Irish freedom.
🇮🇱🇺🇸War correspondent Janine di Giovanni:
“If a missile hits a hospital in Ukraine, Europe calls it a war crime.
But if numerous missiles hit Gaza and 100 people die, it becomes Israel's right to self-defense.”
You thought Epstein Island was bad?

Iranian Professor Marandi:
“ISIS was created by your regime.
Al-Qaeda was created by your regime.
The head of Al-Qaeda went to the White House — the same organization you say carried out 9/11.
So how are we supposed to know who the terrorists are, based on your standards?”
Jewish 'Hope Not Hate' activist Liron Velleman walked free yesterday after getting a suspended sentence for multiple child sex offences.
His Dad flew in from Israel to support his son and take him for a celebratory drink afterwards.
It's hard to believe how history can repeat itself even more harshly. I never thought I'd see scenes from the movie 'The Pianist' come to life before my eyes, especially this scene. I've been trying to shake off the image from my mind all day, but I can't seem to.💔🇵🇸

Iran’s Foreign Minister denounces Trump:
“Trump is saying he has to have a say on Iran’s next leader while he can’t even appoint the mayor of New York. Can you imagine this colonial approach? They claim they are a democracy at home while assassinating and choosing our leaders.”
