Some more thoughts on The Devil Wears Prada 2 (SPOILERS) 👠

- I thought the writing was really cool and the story felt like it made sense and wasn't too forced like other sequels can tend to be
- The pacing was great, it felt very reminiscent of the first film
- It was nice seeing a more human side to Miranda at times and how there was an overall feeling of second chances and redemption for everyone
- The only 'downside' to me was some of the new-gen humour or sayings but I suppose they have to make it palatable to new audiences too
- Lady Gaga ate down and I'm so happy she sang live during her performance and BROUGHT BACK THAT OUTFIT
- I'm kinda surprised at Andy being so forgiving of Emily after she tried to pull one on Miranda but I suppose it makes sense after her realisation of how she betrayed Emily at the end of the first film
- I enjoyed the way they modernised the concept and made it feel very real and current with the digitisation of the magazine and the closing down of physical outlets and media in general
- Loved some of the cinematic parallels and visual calls to the original TDWP
- Finally some justice for Nigel after all he's done for Miranda and Runway
- The way the main cast barely looks like they've aged a second?? You'd have no way of knowing there was 2 decades between the films

Irmãs, acabamos de sair da cabine, e o filme é TUDO!!! Os personagens são bem escritos e a atuação de todo mundo está impecável. A história é super cativante e vale super a pena assistir!

E gente… a Gaga arrasou. A interação dela com a Meryl é ICÔNICA (vocês vão ficar em choque com o contexto da cena hahay) e a performance de “Shape Of A Woman” é incrível. Ela está belíssima usando o icônico Versace do Grammy de 2012, e a música é maravilhosa.

“RUNWAY” toca na preparação do desfile em Milão, e super cria o mood da cena.

Nos créditos ouvimos “RUNWAY” e logo depois “Glamorous Life”, que é LINDA. Canetada maravilhosa e a Gaga servindo vocais e arranjos luxuosos.

No geral, adoramos a experiência. Sempre bom ver a Gaga no cinema, ainda mais na companhia de tantas ESTRELAS!
