In the financial year 2025–26, ₹46,767 crore was allocated to the School Education Department, but only ₹42,351 crore was actually spent. Despite such a massive allocation under the previous DMK government, the fact that a school wall collapsed in Tiruvallur, tragically claiming the life of a young boy, is deeply distressing and shameful.

This financial year, an additional ₹2,176 crore has been allocated compared to what was actually spent last year. More importantly there is no SST However, the real measure of progress is not merely how much money is announced or allocated, but whether every rupee is effectively utilised to improve educational standards, strengthen school infrastructure, and ensure the safety and future of our children.

What Tamil Nadu needs is not just bigger numbers on paper, but responsible implementation on the ground. I am confident that our School Education Minister, Thiru. Rajmohan anna @imrajmohan will efficiently utilise the allocated funds and ensure meaningful improvements in our schools and the overall development of education.

2025–26 நிதியாண்டில் பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறைக்கு ₹46,767 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டிருந்த நிலையில், அதில் ₹42,351 கோடி மட்டுமே செலவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வளவு பெரிய அளவில் நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டதாகக் கூறிய கடந்த திமுக ஆட்சியில், திருவள்ளூரில் பள்ளிச் சுவர் இடிந்து விழுந்து ஒரு சிறுவன் உயிரிழக்கும் அவலநிலை ஏற்பட்டது மிகுந்த வேதனையையும் வெட்கத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்துகிறது.

கடந்த நிதியாண்டில் உண்மையில் செலவிடப்பட்ட தொகையைவிட ₹2,176 கோடி கூடுதலாக இந்த நிதியாண்டில் ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால், எவ்வளவு நிதி ஒதுக்குகிறோம் என்பதைக் காட்டிலும், ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொரு ரூபாயும் கல்வித் தரத்தை உயர்த்தவும், பள்ளிகளின் கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பை மேம்படுத்தவும், மாணவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்தை வளப்படுத்தவும் முறையாகச் செலவிடப்படுகிறதா என்பதே மிக முக்கியம்.

காகிதத்தில் காட்டப்படும் பெரிய நிதி ஒதுக்கீடுகளைவிட, களத்தில் ஏற்படும் உண்மையான மாற்றமே மக்களுக்குத் தேவை. பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறை அமைச்சர் அண்ணன் திரு. ராஜ்மோகன் அவர்கள் ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட நிதியைத் திறம்படப் பயன்படுத்தி, பள்ளிகளின் கட்டமைப்பையும் கல்வித் தரத்தையும் மேம்படுத்தி, மாணவர்களுக்கு பாதுகாப்பான மற்றும் சிறந்த கல்விச் சூழலை உருவாக்குவார்.
