Latin for "The True, The Good, The Beautiful", we are a Roman Catholic young adults apostolate that organizes on-the-go Traditional Latin Masses in Chicagoland.

Dear Friends of VBP: With great sorrow, we share that our beloved chaplain, Rev. Charles Fanelli, passed away on Wed, July 17.

His funeral (alas, not a traditional Requiem) will be at 10am on Thurs, July 25 at Casa Scalabrini in Northlake.

We only ever had good interactions with him. A fine priest, excellent confessor and preacher, a gifted musician, says very speedy Low Masses. VERY speedy🤣

We have facilitated a nuptial Mass, a private Requiem, and a couple TLMs for school children over the years that we did not advertise

@NotedGrump @BeaCulpa @traddingtonbear St Peter's in Volo will continue with the TLM, though the 1st Sun of the month will be an ad orientem sacred music Gregorian chant Novus Ordo in the usual 11:30 TLM slot. No 7am Low Mass on those Sundays. Were granted permission to continue ad orientem for all other N.O. Masses

Which reminds me, Father does still have our spare '62 missal and altar cards that we loaned him back then 🤣
