@RevShark I don't know about all the industries, but the auto industry where the tariffs are not equal. US had 2.5% tax on some types of cars and 25% on others. EU has a 10% on all. Also EU has a lot more factories in US where they create a lot of jobs and invest a lot.
This came out from the fact that I wanted to to use the protocol for a real life use case but it's far too expensive and volatile. However the tech itself has amazing potential also for non-money-printing use cases and I did not give up on it
@ethereum@VitalikButerin@VladZamfir network generated revenue is representing 4.5% of miners rewards (4.5% fees vs 95.5% debt) Also, $ETH price should be ~$8 ๐ต to be able to compete on the market as a transaction settlement protocol. #Tokenomics

@nateliason There is still a lot to be added. I read all your articles in this series. You make a good point but in my opinion you skipped a critical part.
@BantuMahali That's exactly why HAM should have given space to VER like RAI did for him in the clip above. You make exactly the wrong point here trying to defend HAM
@IvanOnTech@IvanOnTech there are some clarifications necessary to your statements from this stream. Some things you said are not quite true or are misinterpreted. To avoid misinformation i would suggest another stream tomorrow with corrections.
@cz_binance@boxmining@binance Actually, a large part of the legislation is created to protect the people (in their various roles: as investors or transactions end-points).
It's far from perfect, but retail investors especially need some protection because there were much more scams than on regulated markets
@AminCad I think you are a honest guy with good intentions, and you're in crypto for the right reasons.I wish things would be simple and the future of crypto will look how you envision it. If not,i hope you will not leave the space and you will still try to contribute even for a compromise
@AminCad Exactly. Internet is a great compromise. And is not anonymous, any ISP can track IPs, they catch theft of content like movies and so on. You still have SSL, TSL and so on over the internet. Its a decent compromise. But TOR and alike will never replace it, the 16 years prove it.
@AminCad Poverty is on decline in general but mixed if you look at regions https://t.co/f6YgvGw0vW . But financial crime and cyber crime is on the rise. Terrorism is on the rise. And on top of all organized crime which would benefit the most from privacy https://t.co/VK8eJO5x8f
@AminCad Yes, but globalization of economy and internet itself facilitated equally economic growth and crime growth, and globalization of terrorism. All I am saying is to find solutions to get where we want like in a negociation. You cannot demand all and give nothing. They will say no
@AminCad To be practical: Aml rules are here to stay and are only enhanced. Unfortunately 90% of crypto activity depends on exchanges and Fiat. Fiat is the link to the real economy. Unit of account especially. Without Aml you cannot link fiat with crypto, it's a deadlock for adoption
