On this #AfricaDay, we're turning the pressure up to beat #malaria 🚫🦟. Half the world is *still* at risk from this treatable & preventable disease. Let's be the generation to #DrawTheLine against malaria through new drugs, nets, & vaccines @zeromalaria
Honoured to be a spokesperson for the @ZeroMalaria campaign '22 led by @malarianomoreuk at a pivotal moment in the fight against #malaria. Complacency isn't an option; we need funding to better understand the disease/parasite/vector to implement effective strategies & save lives
@Malaria_Sam Absolutely we lost a giant. I owe him my first paper on malaria and he and Liz were so welcoming during my visits in Malawi. He was such a nice man and a great scientist. All my thoughts to his family. 🖤
The malaria research community has lost one of its pillars. Malcolm was an inspiration for everyone who had the chance to meet him. He was a true gentleman, a fantastic mentor, an unparalleled orator. I'll always be grateful for his positive influence on my career. RIP, MEM

A bit sureal to finally become an Australian today after calling Australia home for more than 15 years. Covid restrictions makes it even more strange with no guest allowed. So congrats to all my new fellow 🇦🇺 citizens. Let the ceremony begin.
