A huge thank you to @AntCoulls for the fantastic dedication speech at the launch event over the weekend, and of course a massive thank you to this man - Roger Crombleholme - our little green locomotive would not be where it is today without him.

Yesterday, our locomotive Sir Berkeley was given a major boost when the weatherboard and tank were replaced. Last week, cab side panels and the chimney were replaced, so the engine is rapidly coming together!
Well done to our friends at @MiddletonRailwa for their hard work!
We had a successful Chairman's Day with our membership & guests over the weekend. It was good to see many familiar faces again, as well as new ones. We shared updates on some of our latest ventures and achievements, and of course enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch!
We are hiring a temporary, part-time member of staff (front of house), to work on Sundays & Mondays 09:30-17:00. Initially the appointment will run from April to the end of October, 2022.

Yesterday we had our AGM! Matters were agreed upon, future plans were considered, and a new trustee was elected. The yearly 'Wallace and Gromit award' went collectively to our membership for all the support they have shown us in the covid-19 pandemic.
The tubes for @vct_ingrow owned Sir Berkeley arrived last week and the task this weekend was to fit them all ready to be expanded to ensure that they won't leak which is the next task to do.
