New leaked video shows the Muslim Brotherhood-allied Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) preparing chemical weapons munitions.

It has also been revealed that the Red Cross and other Western aid organizations provided the materials that SAF used to build the chemical weapons.

The Washington Post has published its article about the intelligence dossier on SAF’s chemical weapons program, which resulted in several airstrikes with chlorine gas in 2024 on the orders of General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.

Leaked documents, pictures, videos and intercepted phone calls and text messages between SAF commanders show that the chlorine provided by Western aid organizations for water purification was instead weaponised into chlorine gas munitions.

The information in the new dossier explains why the U.S. imposed sanctions on Sudan in 2025 for using chemical weapons in 2024 and why the U.S. imposed a second round of sanctions against SAF figures just 3 months ago.

The use of chemical weapons is a significant escalation in the war, especially considering the close relations between SAF and the Islamists in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Calls are now growing for an independent international investigation under the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).

Picture of severe burn wounds on local civilians and children who suffered respiratory problems and suffocation in the immediate aftermath of the chlorine gas bomb attacks have sparked new demands for teams to be sent to the sites of the attacks to compile full medical documentation of the victims.

Human rights organizations outraged by the chemical weapons use want a legal case dossier to identify precise criminal liability, including information about who authorized the attacks, who procured materials, which units executed the airstrikes and which SAF commanders were involved in covering up the evidence.

Ultimately, the responsibility rests directly with General Al-Burhan and his senior commanders, but dozens of not hundreds of perpetrators were behind the chlorine attacks in Sudan.

And suddenly, all those who are defending her are saying that she is a minor, 15-16 years old. She is just a girl.

If she is mature enough to publicly make such serious and provocative statements about religious beliefs, then she should also be mature enough to face criticism and be held accountable for those statements. Being 15–16 years old cannot automatically make someone immune to criticism.
