veDelegate: Stake your tokens in the #VeBetterDAO ecosystem to boost voting rewards effortlessly. Enjoy enhanced rewards without weekly manual voting! 🚀
🧵 What is Lock-2-Earn in veDelegate and how does it work?
If you're voting in VeBetterDAO governance but not using Lock-2-Earn, you're leaving rewards on the table.
Here's a full breakdown of how this feature works, why it exists, and how to get the most out of it. 👇
Week 100 of Lock 2 Earn is distributed! 🥩
Rewards stay strong, but they do not sustain themselves 🌱
To keep L2E rewards flowing, make sure you vote for veDelegate in the weekly allocation rounds.
Your votes help secure the next rounds of rewards
Lock. Vote. Earn.
There have been no auto opt-ins. The vote delegation setting has been around for over a year. It was added after user feedback from someone who wanted the option to entrust us with keeping his voting preferencs up to date, but we never acted on it at the time because we did not want to take on that responsibility.
With Navigators now in place, it made sense to finally use that existing consent. So if someone has it enabled, they signed that permission manually at some point in the past.
VeBetter's 'Freshness Multiplier' rewards you for turning up and voting for your favourite apps each week!
Weekly updates give you a 3× multiplier on base voting power, bi-weekly = 2×, and if you don't vote for 3 or more rounds, the multiplier drops to base (1×). 🌱
Social login is live on veDelegate 🎉🥩
We’ve upgraded the VeChain Kit, which means you can now log in or sign up with social accounts and start staking or use Lock-2-Earn on veDelegate.
More ways to join. Same simple veDelegate experience.
@Sohcismeow Hey Stefan!
We would prefer to keep a level playing field, premium subscriptions tend to turn into a pay-to-win scenario that negatively impacts other users. The Lock-2-Earn rewards, while locked for the duration of the term, are already used for voting and rewards generation 🙂
Week 97 Lock 2 Earn rewards are out 🥩
28 days: 30.3% APY
91 days: 37.9% APY
182 days: 45.2% APY
364 days: 61.0% APY
Open a locked term to access the best APY available while helping strengthen the VeBetterDAO ecosystem
The longer the lock, the higher the rewards 🌱
@vetifuro Hey Vetifuro!
Once you closed a Lock-2-Earn term the tokens are added back to your main account and from there they’re free to be withdrawn. Give us a DM if you need more help! 😉
We’ve listened to the community feedback regarding the automatic 5% Navigator delegation on veDelegate and decided to remove the auto opt-in
Users will remain fully in control of their voting preferences.
A few important clarifications as there seems to be some misunderstanding around the feature:
• The mirrored 5% carried 0 Navigator fees (while standard Navigator delegation can charge up to 20%)
• veDelegate would never vote for itself
• This did not affect in-dApp voting, only veDelegate users
The intention was never to take control away from users, but to help create a more dynamic and merit based voting ecosystem by introducing limited Navigator influence into otherwise passive voting power
Users who previously enabled delegation features can still manage this setting manually under “Manage Deposit”.
We appreciate the feedback and will continue building with the community
veDelegate is joining as a Navigator 🧭🥩
This is a natural step for us. We already sit at the center of VeBetterDAO data, tracking dApps, rewards, and real user activity.
Now we’ll actively help guide votes too.
@Plunkeh No need for a deposit, you can set that to 0 and you should see a ‘Change Navigator Delegation’ button. This prompts a transaction to disable it
We will update this to make this more clear, thanks for the feedback

@morbidejs The 20% fixed navigator fee applies to those that enroll through the VeBetterDAO Governance page
No such fee is charged to veDelegate users, it mirrors Navigator behavior at zero fees incurred to the users
@morbidejs This does not impact user funds, or their earned rewards, as Navigator fees don't apply here
With the 5% we hope to create a more dynamic allocation voting, since dormant users or pure stakers will not be up to date with recent ecosystem developments
Feels like we need to clarify some things, out of the 5% that mirrors Navigator voting:
- No Navigator fees charged (20% on others)
- No voting for veDelegate
- No changes to in-dApp voting, just veDelegate users
This is purely to create an ecosystem of more informed and engaged voting, limiting the impact of pure staking users
@ColebournL947 It's only enabled for a small percentage of a users stake, and can be disabled in the UI
This promotes more active, merit driven dApp allocation voting for users that have a hands-off experience
Goal is simple:
- Get more voting power to the dApps that actually deserve it
- Reduce inefficiencies
- Help VeBetterDAO grow in the right direction
Let’s build 🧭
If you haven’t set voting preferences, your votes will automatically follow the veDelegate Navigator.
So even passive users stay aligned with the ecosystem, backed by data and updated weekly.
