@Gplavallee72@BradRTorgersen You don't have to point it directly at things, a common tactic is to point the weapon light at the ceiling, which reflects light in a manner sufficient to illuminate most of, if not all of, a room.
It appears that Bobby Prince has died. Doom - Quake - Rise of the Triad - Duke Nukem. So SO many more. I can say this is someone who composed a song just for me. Not many people can say that. Dude's a legend. RIP my old friend.

Burn-it-downers (any political stripe) have never done without. Never been forced to go even a week sans modern luxuries, comforts, and conveniences. Can't farm, ranch, nor mine. And have never even asked a pretty girl on a date, because the anxiety causes panic attacks. But these are the guys who want you to sacrifice your entire middle class existence, including your family, for an apocalypse fantasy.
@uwu_hyna@mouthy_mom_ Against my better judgement I dug deep enough to get the gist of the situation and all I can say is GOOD GOD, WHY? Some people clearly have no soul.
@SalamanderSling Stereotypical answer, which I think is a good one, is a good-quality single-shot .22 rimfire, they are good for teaching safety while helping eliminate most things that could trip that up (magazine feed leaving live ammo ready, automatically cocking on cycling).
