‼️‼️ Hasta el 30 de agosto, se contabilizan 788 fallecidos y más de 2,500 desaparecidos solo en Nepal, con 16 muertes adicionales en el #Tíbet. Las autoridades siguen emitiendo alertas debido a la inestabilidad de las laderas y lagos formados tras el desastre. La fuerza de esta inundación reconfiguró el paisaje del valle.

La región de #Rasuwa en el norte de #Nepal sufrió una devastación masiva debido a una inundación el 26 de agosto. En el pasado, este área era un valle estrecho rodeado de vegetación y edificaciones, pero ahora está cubierta por barro, rocas y sedimentos.

Este desastre fue ocasionado por el colapso de un gran volumen de hielo y roca en el #Himalaya, originando una avalancha seguida por un flujo de desechos de gran magnitud. La corriente afectó 168 km, impactando comunidades, puentes y carreteras a lo largo de los ríos Bhote Koshi y #Trishuli.

Look at this video. A man is walking with his little daughter when a group of robbers riding a motorcycle approaches them and tries to rob him.
