As millenials we must teach ourselves how to invest. No one is out there teaching us. We will be wealthy https://t.co/46zRGjIxCb
Thank you, @RepRalphNorman for signing the discharge petition to get a vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act II.
If just one more Republican signs this discharge petition, we’ll be able to force the vote and pass this important bill.
Has your Representative signed?
Nevada faces a 71% cut to our Colorado River water. 💧 While families conserve, big corporations demand billions of gallons. We can't let our water security be signed away in secret. 📢 Get the facts: https://t.co/TwCR9bZTPX

🇺🇸 Lawsuit challenges federal plan requiring Nevada, Arizona and California to cut water use by about 20% over the next two years amid worsening shortages

Feds just forced three states to cut Colorado River water use
- Arizona loses 760,000 acre feet a year. California 440,000. Nevada 50,000.
- Lake Mead and Lake Powell just hit their lowest levels ever recorded.
- Nevada is now suing the federal government over it.
Facts. Not Spin.

Nevada sued the Trump administration over a plan requiring the state, as well as California and Arizona, to cut Colorado River water use.

Last night, Donald Trump, our pathological liar-in-chief, said:
“Every single promise I made to you as a candidate, I’ve delivered on. I’ve delivered on everything.”
Really?
Well, let’s go down the list.
Since becoming president again, Trump promised:
✅ $5,000 DOGE dividend checks. A lie.
✅ $2,000 tariff dividend checks. A lie.
✅ $1,000+ checks by repealing ACA subsidies. A lie.
✅ A 10% cap on credit card interest rates. A lie.
✅ “The lowest drug prices in the world.” A lie.
✅ $2 a gallon gas. A lie.
✅ An end to inflation “starting on Day One.” A lie.
✅ An end to “endless wars.” A lie.
And now, after all of those lies, Trump wants you to believe that he will give every American adult a $5,000 check - but only if the Republicans win the midterms.
No. I don’t think so. The Trump Administration is not about helping working families. It’s about giving a trillion dollars in tax breaks to the 1% and throwing 15 million Americans off the health care they have.
Over the last 50 years, $79 trillion has been transferred from the bottom 90% to the top 1%.
CEOs now make 350 times more than their average workers, while 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
We can and must create an economy that works for all, not just the 1%.
James Fishback was removed from today's Miami-Dade County meeting for speaking against Israel and asking if local leaders worked for America or Israel.
On the House floor tonight, I read the names of several Epstein coconspirators who should be investigated and prosecuted.
I also began collecting 218 signatures for the discharge petition to force a vote on Epstein Files Transparency Act II.

Billionaires — in either party — should not be able to buy elections.
That is not democracy. That is a corrupt campaign finance system.
We need to end Citizens United. We need to get super PACs out of our elections. We need public funding of elections.
If you voted for the Big Beautiful Bill, please don’t get on here and express righteous indignation that the debt is now $40 trillion. Anyone with a room temperature IQ knew that cutting taxes and increasing spending was going to balloon the deficit.
People on the USA are so used to not getting anything out of their tax money besides war that when a mayor actually gives them fans on their subway, fixes trash cans, paves patholes, and provides services with their own tax dollars they call it communisim.
It’s official, the Senate has voted 50 - 49 to confirm Todd Blanche as AG—failing the American people and failing Survivors.
It is a dark moment for our system of checks and balances, as the justice department is being weaponized for retribution, shielding the Administration from accountability, and actively obstructing the Epstein case.
There is no doubt that these 50 votes will go down in history.
To every survivor and every person who cares about justice: this is not the end. We will continue fighting to hold them accountable.
This was the reason for the tariffs. They knew they would be struck down, and that when they were, Lutnick and other corporations would POCKET $100 BILLION OF TAXPAYER MONEY.
WE paid the tariffs and LUTNICK/TRUMP stole our refunds.
We are not angry enough with these people.
Yes, BEA data confirms it: wages and salaries were 42.8% of GDI in 2024 (and 2022-23), near the lowest since records started in 1929 (bottom was 42.1% in 2013).
GDI is the total income generated by producing everything in the US economy. The other ~57% is mainly:
- Employer benefits/supplements (~9%)
- Capital depreciation (~16.5%, higher now due to tech/IP)
- Corporate profits (~11.5%)
- Proprietors’ income (~7%)
- Rents (~3.7%)
- Plus net interest, production taxes less subsidies, etc.
Inflation and money supply growth raise both wages and overall GDI in nominal terms, so they do not drive the share itself. The multi-decade drop is structural (more capital, benefits, profits). Absolute pay still rose with growth.
Amazon is about to recieve $600+ million in tariff refunds.
Which means you paid extra in tariff charges, and now Amazon will swallow it up for themselves.
This is Trump’s America, literally everything is a con to make him and his rich friends money.
