@_LarZen_@Colteastwood they won't release a cloud gaming box
the point of cloud gaming is for people to play without buying any additional hardware, it works on any smartphone, tablet, or laptop/pc, xcloud even works on firesticks
@xMBGx the hardware crisis is affecting everybody, console makers, smartphone companies, PCs,
next-gen consoles are gonna be expensive, unless companies wait long enough so we can go back to the old pricing, but it may take years
@Puertorock77_ well that's true, a $1,000 console for the mass market is a death sentence for any console maker
even the current prices are kinda high for many casual players, i think many people are willing to spend $500 - $550 usd on a console, more than that is a hard sell
@NikTek Alan Wake 2 runs at native 847p - 30 FPS on Series S and native 864p - 60 FPS with better quality graphic settings on PS5 Pro, it's still a very taxing game
if GTA 6 runs at 30 FPS on all consoles, expect lower native res and quality settings on Series S
@brain_nullptr@NikTek about the reflections, it should be a software based solution like software Lumen in UE 5, that technology relies on SSR, usually has visual artifacts and doesn't look as good as hardware RT
many games don't support HW RT on consoles, SH 2, Avowed, Forza Motorsport, 007 FL, etc
@AmericanTimdog the old school guys, see everything from the perspective of hardcores, there are million of players out there who doesn't give a f about logos, exclusives or brands, they just want to play, even something niche like the handheld PCs found the userbase
@JamiesAct For casual players who still don't own a current gen console, the Series S is a very compelling option, especially for GTA
Series S $400 + GTA 6 $70 = $470
if casuals want to buy a PS5 or Series X to play GTA, that would be like $700 usd
Casuals care a lot about pricing
@Argo4017@TRIPSTER0 PS5 Pro doesn't have PT in alan wake 2, RE Requiem, or any game at all
Alan Wake 2 runs at native 1224p - 40 FPS with RT reflections, (nothing else) and 864p - 60 FPS with RT off, this was confirmed by Remedy

@PCFactsbr Hardware RT? Forza Motorsport, GTA V, Doom TDA
Software RT, i think Hellblade 2 and Robocop Rogue City
I didn't like Avowed but the hardware RT looks really good, and the RT of SH 2 on PC looks fine too, especially if you modify the UE 5 ini files
@CraigHarris456 the ps5 pro raster performance is more or less equal to the 4060 ti 16 GB (not the 8 GB version)
but the hardware ray tracing performance is way behind nvidia, even the 4060 (8 GB) supports path tracing in games like alan wake 2 and RE Requiem
