@domdyer70 @BBCNews Charities make special appeals for specific purposes all the time. Nowzad appealed for funds to help evacuate staff and animals. That is what I donated towards. That is what the money was used for.

If you search @KSAnimalRescue and #OperationHercules you can follow posts from weeks ago that covers how they've been rescuing the abandoned dogs and were trying to save them.
