🇵🇸 Nous sommes à plus de 920 000 signatures demandant la suspension de l’accord d’association UE-Israël !

It took Israel only 10 minutes to carry out one of the worst mass-killings in Lebanon since the end of the country’s civil war in 1990.
Lebanese are still searching for loved ones under rubble and in hospital morgues.
Hospitals are overwhelmed with patients, many of them children. “I thought they bombed a school at first,” the head of a hospital in Beirut said.

🇪🇸 BREAKING: Spanish PM Pedro calls for the IMMEDIATE ARREST of Netanyahu
He said: "Netanyahu launched the worst possible unjustified attack against Lebanon. His contempt for life and international law is intolerable. He is a criminal that must be arrested immediately.”
He also adds that the EU will suspend its Association Agreement with Israel very soon.
This is what true leadership looks like.
EU citizens should sign this European Citizens' Initiative to suspend the EU-Israel association agreement (=free trade). This is a powerful constitutional tool, which at 1 mil signatures forces EU bodies to take action (see ⬇️). It's already at 750,000.

Prime Minister 🇸🇮 Robert Golob:
"Despite the ceasefire agreement Israel is hitting Lebanon in the hardest way possible. We are witnessing indiscriminate strikes against densely populated areas with very high number of civilian casualties, inc. children.
Israel is ruthlessly violating the international law, impeding peace efforts and increasing further the suffering of the Lebanese population.
I join the call of the Prime Minister of Spain @sanchezcastejon for suspending the EU-Israel Association Agreement. We should not let Lebanon become the new Gaza."

🇱🇧 (EN/FR/NL) I came to Beirut today to show our full support to the Lebanese authorities and to express our deep solidarity with the families affected by the violent conflict opposing Israel to Hezbollah. Just before I was commending President Aoun for offering to open official negotiations with Israel towards a ceasefire, Israel launched, with no previous warning, one of the most massive strikes since the beginning of the hostilities, allegedly causing hundreds of civilian victims. We were at the embassy with my delegation, just a few hundred metres from where the missiles struck. This must stop. The ceasefire between the US, Israel and Iran must include Lebanon!

Apocalyptic scenes in Lebanon’s capital right now.
Israel has launched 100 airstrikes on Lebanon in 10 minutes.
Striking South Lebanon, Beirut and the Bekaa Valley simultaneously.
This isn’t a ceasefire.
It’s mass bombardment of civilian areas.
Southern Lebanon is being hollowed out.
Over one million people displaced. Towns and villages flattened. Infrastructures destroyed. Innocent civilians killed - including many children. There is absolutely no justification for this. None whatsoever.
Even wars have rules.
The Geneva Conventions protect civilians in conflict and help ensure assistance reaches those in need, without discrimination.

Civilian families pay the highest price after a month of indiscriminate warfare in, on and from Lebanon.
57 Lebanese first responders have been killed, vital bridges used to flee have been destroyed, and lives are being shattered across the country.
More than one million people have been displaced. Families have fled again and again, and entire communities are trapped in fear, loss, and exhaustion.
There is no end in sight. Yet even as needs surge, the humanitarian response is only one-third funded.
In southern Lebanon, an Israeli ground invasion and extensive destruction will isolate vulnerable communities and prevent families from returning home.
This is a humanitarian crisis spiralling by the day. All parties must de-escalate now.
NRC teams and partners are supporting displaced people with emergency relief and racing against time to turn classrooms into basic sleeping spaces, while providing basic education and trauma care to children.
We need funding to scale up the response.
We need protection of civilians according to international humanitarian law.
Lebanon cannot be left to face this crisis alone.
While the world focuses on the destruction in Iran, we must not ignore what Israel is doing in Lebanon.
1,461 have been killed.
4,430 have been injured.
1.2 million have been displaced.
Israel now occupies 14% of Lebanon.
Enough is enough. No more US military aid to Israel.
"It's truly deranged, obviously, for a number of reasons."
@Timodc takes on Trump’s Easter morning threats to bomb Iran’s bridges, power grid, and energy infrastructure if a deal isn’t reached
The Israeli government has displaced a total of 6 million people from their homes. (3 million Iran, 2 million Gaza, 1 million Lebanon).
6 million people.
The equivalent of the entire population of Maryland displaced from their homes.
By one government.
