@lymbothecat@SonicLabs@MattVisser I feel you, been in FTM as well for a looooong time. But Matt is here to turn that around. The man has a difficult job to do that so I rather help were I can to support him in rebuilding Sonic.
I believe in the future of @soniclabs $S and that we are at the start of a new era of growth. Most sell pressure is out of the market as the biggest liquidations have been handled for the biggest part. I've spoken to @MattVisser and I believe he's the right person to turn around Sonic. The fundamental technology stack is great and the main technical team thats done almost all of the latest developments is still there. Matt is here to foster sustainable growth, not only from a technical perspectice but also from a business perspective (something that Sonic has not had before). This is what Sonic needs now. Regaining trust of the community, working with builders and creating partnerships is what he is actively doing and what will turn this ship around. Thats not sudden progress but all these little improvements will pay out.
We should also keep in mind that the general crypto market is facing headwinds. Its easy to think than that the improvements wont make a difference but thats not true.
When the market picks up again Sonic will do as well. First slowly but every time more and more.
@_Crrown@SonicLabs@SonicEcosystem Fully agree. I think @MattVisser and the new MGMT marks the start of a new and more sustainable era of @SonicLabs. One thats less dependant on key figures but more focused on sustainable growth and long term succes. This is what $S needs now.
As weird as it may be but sonic-3:native is printing bullish divs on the daily. Implies that the dump from the last few days is based on low volume. Also implies that those who wanted to sell are mostly out. If @SonicLabs is able to share transparancy and positive insights this weeks it most likely will grind up slowly.
$S @SonicLabs could become the most hated rally in the history of crypto. After all that has happened we might have the most assymetrical bet in front of us. Either zero or $5+
Seriously valid points. I've been very bullish since the early FTM days and I'm not sure if the Sonic rebranding is a net win. But here we are and that's something we cannot change. The fundamentals are still the same and the mgmt just changed. I'm keen on giving this one more shot and happy to be part on the Frontline of the community to lead the charge.
Its a bad picture for sure and I'll be the first to admit. On the other hand i've been in crypto long enough to have witnessed complete turn arounds. Whether @MattVisser is the right person for that is yet to be proven but the fundamental tech and most of the dev community is still there. With the right mgmt momentum can shift. The good thing is that all the news is out and transparancy is promised. This is fertile soil for growth.
@rams_ab289@SonicLabs Im looking forward to the first official communications. We will learn a lot from that. AI is indeed an important narrative as well as privacy.
The speed and tech is still there and so is the biggest part of the developer community. The developer incentives with gas fees and the the vertical intgration are good fundamental improvements. I agree its easy to get super bearish and the odds are not in our favor, but i've also learned that sentiment can change quickly in a bull market. Especially when transparancy, steady progress and teachnologic improvements are being made. @MattVisser has not an easy job and there is a lot of work to do but not all is lost and there is certainly a bull case left. Also for your token @TinHat_Cat. Don't give up brother. Its either zero or valhalla. (I) We are actively building on @SonicLabs and the tech is unique. If mgmt picks up and the community joins again a lot is possible, especially in a broader upwards momentum of the market.
