@slaterstich The way we’re solving this in my org is my making folks declare their events in an IDL like protobuf and then codegen-ing native data containers. We enforce comments and ownership and all the nice stuff. Since we know the structure and owner it’s relatively easy to assess quality
@teej_m Another thing folks often overlook is transactional consistency. With CDC it’s hard to do this and often times folks assume it’s ok to run sensitive financial reports, that might demand transactional consistency, on the warehouse. Snapshots are better suited for some cases
