Cancer hits home for me in many ways, which is why I'm supporting #WorldCancerDay today in honour of so many loved ones who currently are battling cancer, those who are in remission, and for those I have lost because of cancer.
I visited the Vredendal Hospital to see the innovation that went into converting an old boiler room into a COVID-19 ward. I also thanked our amazing healthcare workers for all their hard work and personal sacrifices to save lives.
1/3 My last stop during my visit to the West Coast District, was at a kite surfing business in Langebaan where I met with the owner of the store along with a group of local restaurant owners and watersport business owners from Langebaan.
