Today marks the final day for https://t.co/1ZSbegMqh8 and the last opportunity to mint a Heart + Craft.

As part of this closure today, @ArtOnBlockchain and I will each be minting 1,000 pieces for our personal collections.

@generativegoods will receive the balance they’ve prepaid for, along with an additional 1,000 pieces to continue their incredible work of bringing generative art into the physical world.

Of course, today is the last chance for anyone else to mint a heart before we shut things down at the end of the day.

I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for Snowfro and the unforgettable experience of creating Heart + Craft together.

What started as a virtual collaboration over a few months turned into something far more special—constructing the physicals together in person, affixing them to the shed at the Marfa house, and sending Heart + Craft #1 into space. Experiencing the mission launch together in person was a surreal and inspiring moment that I'll never forget.

To everyone who supported https://t.co/1ZSbegMqh8 and Heart + Craft along the way, thank you. While the platform is winding down, the art will live on-chain and in our hearts. Let’s make the most of this last day together.

Today, I’m announcing the wind-down of @ProhibitionArt and its parent company, Venture Punk Inc.

This decision wasn’t easy, but it’s time to close this chapter.

https://t.co/1ZSbegMqh8 will remain live through the end of the month, with final opportunities for NFT purchases and collection management until September 30th, 2024.

Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition for artists, collectors, and the community, while preserving the legacy and integrity of the platform’s existing artworks.

To all the artists, collectors, and supporters—thank you. Your belief in Prohibition and @venture_punk made this journey possible. I’m deeply grateful for the trust and creativity you've brought to the platform.

As we approach the final days, https://t.co/1ZSbegMqh8 will remain operational until September 30th. Artists with active projects can choose to cap their editions or allow minting to continue via Arbiscan after the site shuts down.

All onchain functionalities will remain intact. Thanks to our integration with @ArtBlocksEngine, rendering services and assets will continue to be supported—ensuring the art remains alive and accessible.

Heart & Craft Update:
Before the platform shuts down, @ArtOnBlockchain and I will each mint up to 1,000 additional NFTs for our personal collections, and the project will be capped at a final edition size. This ensures Heart & Craft’s legacy while giving the community a final opportunity to engage with the project.

Although Prohibition is closing, the art lives on.
Everything that exists onchain will continue to function, and I’m proud of what we built together.

Thank you to every artist, collector, and supporter who helped shape this platform. Your creativity, trust, and enthusiasm are what made Prohibition special.

While this chapter is closing, I remain excited about the future of digital art and NFTs.

I’m already working on new ideas and exploring fresh opportunities.

TL;DR: when it comes to building, easy does it.
It's not the same instinct as in degening.

When you're trying to catch the next memecoin - you gotta be on top of the current narrative all the time.

Building takes time, and it may be worth it to sit on an idea and let it marinade a little bit before rushing to raise and execute.

If you're building something just because it's hot right now, the narrative may move on by the time you're ready.

You gotta allow yourself to have a longer time horizon and take your time.
