@NewsIADN HAL had already designed the first 350 kG engine in the late nineties used on DRDO’s Lakshya UAV . It is now used on HAL’s wingman based UAV

@INDOSINTDESK @NewsIADN Not exactly . HAL’s Engine Design Bureau pioneered to design and produce the first Indigenous jet engine PTAE-7 of 350 kG thrust in the early eighties , to power the first indigenous UAV of ADE , called Lakshya - which laid the foundation of the jet powered UAVs of India .
