Spending the night in a crowded shelter alongside hundreds of strangers and their pets is neither comfortable nor pleasant, to be honest. But as exhausting as it is, I'd rather listen to babies crying than see half-empty shelters while russia intensifies its ruthless attacks on residential neighbourhoods in Ukraine with 500+ drones and 50-70 missiles.
Last night, a record 52,5k people sought refuge in Kyiv's metro stations. Many others spent the night in underground parking garages and basements.
As rescue operations continue, the death toll in Kyiv has risen to 20, making this one of the deadliest attacks on the capital in the last years.
This is what letting russian evil go unpunished leads to. russia is a terrorist state.
We must never underestimate the capacity to build our own vessels. The "Magallanes", an 8,000-ton LPD, is the first of four new transports for the Chilean Navy. Great visit today! @Armada_Chile@alessionaval

Deeply saddened by the tragic death of two Ukrainian demining specialists of Norwegian People’s Aid @NPAdisarm, aged just 24 and 25, who were killed in a Russian attack in Kherson region while carrying out humanitarian mine clearance operations. Four of their colleagues were also injured.
These young men were not combatants. They were saving lives. Day after day, they worked to remove the deadly legacy of Russia’s aggression from Ukrainian soil, making it possible for civilians to return home, children to play safely, and communities to rebuild.
The bitter irony is impossible to ignore: those risking their lives to clear mines and protect civilians became victims of the very aggression that made their work necessary in the first place.
My heartfelt condolences to their families, friends, colleagues, and the entire Norwegian People’s Aid team.
This crime must not be allowed to fade into statistics. Russia must be held accountable not only for launching its war of aggression against Ukraine, but also for the countless lives destroyed by its deliberate and indiscriminate attacks. Accountability is not a matter of politics. It is a matter of justice.

Lithuanian footballer Ignas Kailius was killed in the war with russia.
Ignas joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in February this year. Since the beginning of June, he had been considered missing in action.
At that time, russian occupation forces carried out a massive shelling of the area where the Lithuanian volunteer was located while performing a combat mission, after which contact with him was completely lost.
“We remember and will always remember Ignas Kailius as a person who always radiated positive energy. The former Suduva B player gave his life defending the freedom of Ukraine and all of us from aggressors, good from evil, light from darkness. Rest in peace, Hero!
Support the funds of your choice that help Ukraine in its fight, and we will honor the memory of Ignas during the match on July 6,” the statement from Suduva Football Club, for which Ignas played, reads.
Eternal memory.
Condolences to his family and loved ones 💔
We will never forget.
Today marks the third anniversary of the murder of two Ukrainian heroes — Tigran Oganesyan and Mykyta Khanganov.
Two 16-year-old schoolboys from Berdiansk who became symbols of unbreakable resistance. They were among the first to tear down the russian tricolor in their occupied city, openly defying the occupiers.
For this, they were abducted, tortured, and falsely labeled “terrorists.” On June 24, 2023, russians executed them in cold blood in occupied Berdiansk.
They did not break. They did not bow. They did not surrender.
Their courage lives on. Their names echo through time.
We remember. We honor. We stand.
Tigran and Mykyta — forever in our hearts.
Eternal memory 🫡🙏
