The Iran War understandably dominates the headlines, but don't forget the tragedy that continues to unfold in Sudan, the world's worst humanitarian crisis.
UN resolution urges reparations for slaveryβs βhistorical wrongsβ
This REPARATIONS fight is for descendants of 'ENSLAVED' AFRICANS not for FBA anti African cult group, WE WAZ ALREADY HERE, BLACK NATIVE AMERICANS etc
The resolution spearheaded by Ghana received 123 votes in favour. Three countries β Argentina, Israel and the United States β voted against and 52 abstained
The State of Palestine co-sponsored the resolution and the Palestinian people stand in solidarity with the millions of African victims of trafficking and racialised chattel enslavement.
May this injustice never be perpetrated again; may its enduring racial, economic, ecological and political harms end; and may its victims find reparatory justice and accountability.
βSUDAN IS NOT A CRISIS THE WORLD HAS FAILED TO NOTICE. IT IS A CRISIS THE WORLD IS CHOOSING TO IGNORE.β

In all seriousness, Iran is not liberating Sudan. Sudanese men and women are. People who had no choice but to pick up arms to defend their country. Thousands have died for Sudan, not for you to praise Iran. Iran is bombing US assets in the UAE for its own geopolitical reasons, not for Sudan. Sudan is fighting to liberate itself from the UAE-backed RSF.
The resolution, tabled by Ghana, saw stiff opposition from both Europe and North America.
Here's a detailed breakdown of the voting.
Some countries, such as Venezuela and Afghanistan, cannot vote because of US sanctions, otherwise the results would have been even more one-sided.
