Sorry to interrupt your Sunday, friends.

I really hesitated to write this, but if I don’t speak up today, I will be facing a severe financial crisis within a week or two.

To be clear, I am not asking for charity or financial help. I am asking for work.

I have been completely without work for the last three months. My last project ended on June 30th, and since then I have knocked on every door I know—calling, texting, meeting contacts, and following up.

People say they will try, but after that first talk, the silence takes over. Calls go unanswered or get cut after a couple of rings. I honestly don't know whether the industry is shifting because of AI or if my age (52) is working against me, but despite over 13 years of solid experience in the field, nothing has materialized.

Now, my savings are down to the very end. I can barely hold out for another week or two.

I am a professional content writer, translator, and speaker who is comfortable on stage and in front of the camera. I write and translate fluently across Gujarati, Hindi, and English, with Gujarati being my strongest suit.

Many of you already know my grasp of politics and my political writing, but I am equally adept at covering Bollywood and cricket. My priority is media houses, digital platforms, or publications, but I am open to any genuine writing or translation opportunity.

I can work remotely or take up assignments on-site anywhere in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, as I need to be close to my elderly mother to take care of her health.

Because my situation is urgent, I am especially looking for quick-turnaround freelance assignments or immediate projects where payments can be settled on submission.

Pollution Control Measures Intensified in Gurugram Ahead of Winter Season

Strict monitoring of pollution-emitting activities to be strengthened across the district

Principal Advisor to Government of Haryana, Urban Development, Shri D.S. Dhesi, chaired the 13th District Coordination Committee meeting and directed officials to intensify pollution control and enforcement measures ahead of the winter season.

✔️ No fuel for vehicles without valid PUC certificates or those completing the prescribed age limit, as per applicable rules.
✔️ CCTV cameras to be installed at petrol pumps for monitoring.
✔️ 1,054 pollution-emitting sites identified for direct monitoring.
✔️ 907 sites equipped with web cameras and 534 sites with low-cost sensors.
✔️ Web cameras and sensors to enable online monitoring by CAQM and HSPCB.
✔️ Environmental Compensation to be imposed for violations; continued non-compliance may lead to stoppage of operations/construction work.
✔️ Departments directed to expedite ongoing development works before pollution-related restrictions come into force.

Officials were also directed to ensure strict on-ground implementation of pollution control measures and strengthen inter-departmental coordination.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Shri Uttam Singh, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, Shri Pradeep Dahiya, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Manesar, Shri Pradeep Singh, Secretary, RTA, Shri Sanjeev Singla, Chief Engineer, GMDA, Shri R.S. पेट्रोल में एथेनॉल मिलाया जा रहा है, क्योंकि पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों को आयात करना पड़ता है और उस पर बहुत बड़ी मात्रा में विदेशी मुद्रा खर्च होती है। लेकिन 1 किलोमीटर लंबा जाम रोज केवल इसलिए लगता है क्योंकि मुश्किल से 2% कमर्शियल वाहनों से दिल्ली में प्रवेश के लिए ₹100 टोल टैक्स वसूला जाता है।
अगर आप इस जाम में जलने वाले पेट्रोल या डीजल की मात्रा का अनुमान लगाएँ, तो वह यहाँ वसूले जाने वाले टोल टैक्स से कम से कम 10 गुना ज्यादा होगी।

दिल्ली सरकार में मंत्री प्रवेश वर्मा से एक युवक ने घटिया सड़कों पर सवाल पूछ लिया।

फिर क्या था.. मंत्री जी भड़क गए और गुस्से में युवक को थप्पड़ जड़ दिए।

यही BJP का असली चेहरा है- जहां सत्ता के घमंड में चूर नेता-मंत्री खुद को 'राजा' और जनता को कीड़ा-मकौड़ा समझते हैं।
