Starmer gets a lot of flak on here, maybe some of it deserved? I reckon, however, that in these highly troubled times, he is an ideal person to lead on British foreign policy & defence issues. He's intelligent, thoughtful, will consult, & is guided by the national interest, not his ego or his own financial gain. Compare him to Trump & I think most of us will vastly prefer Starmer, with all his faults. Not everyone will agree, that's politics.
The vitriol of lies and deceit & malicious attacks on our PM by the media & political commentators is at such a hysterical level can only mean that Starmer is doing a great job. They fear that his success will keep Labour in government long term.
Due to work this afternoon, but practice just cancelled last minute:
“Withdrawal reason: I no longer require this staff type, ARRS used”
Now tell me practices & GP partners aren’t complicit in destroying general practice.
@kcisc Wow, so they’re teaching them the pharmacy degree AND the medicine degree in 2yrs huh?
Ffs the hubris in these people, Jesus wept. You can see why the medical schools didn’t even entertain taking them…
@iDrSunny How about a legal ruling stating that on NHS / hospital (etc) headed letters (qualify better !), all non-MBCHB / MD non-medical "doctorates" ==must== be post-nominal and CANNOT appear as prefix "Dr."
Really interesting one here.
A surgical care practitioner with a professional doctorate signs off on patient letters as ‘Dr …’
Wondering how patients would understand the difference here.
@i_iratus This David Bull?
Who shamelessly used National HIV Testing Week to flog expensive HIV testing kits. Testing is freely available on the NHS.

@i_iratus "Welcome, Dr Bull. We're interviewing today for the role of Chair.
We have some tough questions, so let's make a start:
Do you want to be Chair?"
"Yes"
Do you have £25 on you?"
"Yes, here it is"
"Congratulations, David, you are now Reform Chair
...... And remember - no refunds"
I’ve worked full time since I was 15 years old. Paid tax and national insurance.
I’m now 42, unemployed; career suicide for whistleblowing as an exemplary midwife on maternity safety.
I deserved better. So do the women.
They've done it.
I'm cancelling my TV licence until the board are removed @BBC, this is unacceptable.
I suggest everyone does the same.
