@missalyssa_a @doctor2pi@DrEddiesClass Alyssa, I agree! Both are great options we as educators need. It is also very convenient when students cannot get to a website or if we need to close their tabs etc.
@SarahCeja03 @doctor2pi Hello, Sarah! This is great. I did not know that we could communicate through Class Dojo, I usually use the as incentive points.
@mahokagawa @tom_karnes@doctor2pi@CsubMadelyns@DrEddiesClass Maho, I agree. Or when we would call on students they would not be able to respond due to their poor connection and really we got that "robot sound" at the other end
@Dcruz23csub@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns@Ststansberry Daisy, I agree. And although it wasn't too frequent at the beginning. It definitely got worse towards the end. Where the students would have bad internet connection, or I myself would. Or slides wouldn't load, or the websites were not working.
@kassidy_mason2@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns@Ststansberry Kassidy, I agree. This is a great way for student to be able to get equitable access of all assignments and it can be tricky for students who do not have internet or tech availability at home.
@CharlineDelgad2 @Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB@doctor2pi Charlie, I think this is a great way for our ELL student population to get support. Being exposed to new vocabulary through read alouds is a strategy for them to get support.
@VladQ97 @MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 Vladimir, I agree! Google Docs is super efficient when getting things done by multiple peers. It saves a lot of time and honestly being able to add type while others are typing just let's everyone complete the work must faster than staying late and sharing all the information.
@marielambravo42@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 Hello Mariela, I believe you are able to make your YouTube videos private. I once used youtube to go over multiplication problems with my students for multiplication intro and it worked great.
@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 A4) I think one educational tool that could've been incorporated to enhance my experience would be Youtube. I know some teachers include videos and students can always go back and play video if they have questions or are confuse. #EDCI6710#csubted
@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns Towards the end of my internship with #KUTR I tried implementing peardeck in math. However it became apparent my kids hadnโt used it & they really needed to be familiar with it.I had students write their answers on whiteboards &have them show me. #EDCI6710#csubted@DrEddiesClass
@doctor2pi A1) 1 resource that is innovative is FlipGrid-it allows for multiple things to take place For ex checking for understanding, communication skills,& collaboration amongst others It also allows for students to showcase their work in their own words #csubted#EDCI6710@DrEddiesClass
