@deardoeface i do have my own code and css skins to scan fics, i work in ai detection lmao, but as i have mentioned the gemini tells can come from other places, so i would not view them as entirely legitimate is all. in any case good luck! did not mean to be condescending.
@deardoeface every single editor or system ever. notion leaves soooo many by itself. the formatting someone uses can come from anywhere. like the effort you put into this is obvious but be weary.
@deardoeface i have to say if you are unfamiliar with these classes and do not know how css n html work extensively, i would allow someone with more tech experience to build this skin. i’m p certain i know which gemini remnants ur talking about and u will never be able to test—
@ithaaka also even if u do use google docs there are billions of extensions that will type out pasted text for you. or you could be writing it out ai txt by hand. or you could be doing it sentence by sentence. or whatever or whatever. there will always be some way to say u “cheated” 😭💀
@awfulbliss_@plurbovers https://t.co/EeToHydveE i believe this is one of the ways u can do it. and i dont think its even possible on mobile (someone correct me if im wrong)
@roachieee99 if you would like you can dm me with what you’ve found and i can tell you if it has come from other places :). but generally yeah notion is a big one that adds a lot of weird tailwind classes and others.
@surreality_mw@ireverents i found that notion adds PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer as well as several tailwind classes. and i personally know multiple people who use notion to structure or organize. so i would not treat these as reliable tells anymore
@surreality_mw@ireverents yeah i think this has the possibility to delve into any weird class or attribute being marked as ai (not saying ur doing that just generally :)) i noticed one for chat i think which appears because of the dynamic js that adds it so u can get a tooltip. (the ask chatgpt thing)
@roachieee99 others can also come from whatever editor these users were using. notion has a weird one that gets added that’s one of the same one as chatgpt. other editors likely do as well
@roachieee99 yes they exist. but i would be careful because these classes can come from other places - i already explained one that happens when u copy paste from social media like twitter (even dms). or google search results. somewhere in my replies.
@plurbovers but maybe people don’t even know they can do that 😭. based on the takes i’ve seen this week tech is not a lot of people’s strong point. so i would be. hesitant.
@plurbovers i’m unsure about gemini because like…if someone googles idk “symbolism definition” and then copy pastes what is shows to them at the top. that will count. which i think. is a bit…idk. i guess it would encourage you to turn gemini off lmao.
@ireverents@surreality_mw i would be careful because PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer also appears when you copy paste from some social media websites, including dms. you can test it with twitter for example. (source: i’ve been injecting and testing my fics w all kinds of stuff for the last 4 days lol)
@icaruslemaitre@Haiqi_m24@tozieresque yes. i work in tech. maybe i should’ve been clearer, chatgpt isn’t the only thing that leaves invisible characters in text. any content pasted from google doc will most certainly leave some. so it is not a reliable tell. that is what i meant with the not true.
