nothing scares me more than an on time train, because there's no way this the train i'm supposed to be on, it has to be the last train that just got so delayed it overlapped with the next one, and i'm definitely going in the wrong direction.
@tendedkibbles0@ZanderTheBoi@blkbrry_m@monkydlufycool when! when the fuck did i say you have to hate chromium! how the fuck did you even extrapolate that? just because someone expresses an opinion online doesn't mean they want everyone to follow it.
@tendedkibbles0@ZanderTheBoi@blkbrry_m@monkydlufycool to reiterate myself, this entire thing was about why some people don't like using opera, SPECIFICALLY. (even if yes, it is a reason that applies to multiple browsers)
how are you this dense.
@tendedkibbles0@ZanderTheBoi@blkbrry_m@monkydlufycool no shit sherlock, it's almost not only did i never say otherwise, i was outright implying that they exist.
it's almost like this was just about opera, and why some people just don't like it, and instead are using those alternatives, not a psa on flammable canines.
@ComingScoop paranoid? i just don't like chrome very much.
also i'm literally saying that; no there are browsers that don't spy on you. i think that's just fundamentally the opposite of paranoid.
@ZanderTheBoi@blkbrry_m@monkydlufycool also what the fuck did i just say about this not being an orwellian dystopia. contrary to your very flawed belief, there are options to not sell your soul, many in fact, well known mainstream options, and just cause you have no basic netiquette, doesn't mean the rest of us don't.
@ZanderTheBoi@blkbrry_m@monkydlufycool it matters because some people just don't fucking like chromium, and would rather use browsers that just don't have it.
also "just a web browser" is the shittiest argument ever. considering how much we use these things, even minor changes can massively affect day to day life.
@ZanderTheBoi@blkbrry_m@monkydlufycool opera is literally built off of chromium.
also no, there are noninvasive browsers available for people who want privacy. we don't actually live in an orwellian nightmare.
@Crusty783 colours can have more meanings than just what pride flag they've been applied too. if something is blue and pink it doesn't mean it's trans flag, it just means it's a really nice combo.
also, not true. there are people who own trans flags simply because being supportive is cool.
i was genuinely about to buy a visual novel that isn't available in english, fully prepared to hold my phone up to my screen with google translate open, just to play it
@MirageAshes@Ph1LzA it's still really well put together, and honestly this just makes me like it more, there are worse things to me than something looking like one of my favourite manga.
@MirageAshes@Ph1LzA i always thought it might've been him, didn't actually know till now, but like, the add ons you choose actually really do make me think even more of bleach, what with the sword and oversized weapon, even the cape reminds me of burn the witch
@S4turnF0x most people don't like going to the doctor, or at least no-one i know likes it, and i can't blame them. at best it's something you do out of obligation rather than desire, but sometimes it's just straight up uncomfortable.
