“Hollywood is giving you a star today. But this star does not make you light, because you were born light. It simply tells the ground what the sky has always known.”

What a poetic speech from Brandy. Sobrang ganda. I love her so much! 😭

Being a cinephile is way more rewarding when you stop worrying about what films are “the best” and instead focus on the movies that interest you. You don’t have to force yourself to rewatch the Dune movies because everybody hypes them up. Find your niche. Pursue your obsessions.

[veryroel @veryroel]

Please give us a chance to watch 58th :(

A THREAD:

[veryroel @veryroel]

Kung mag-organize ako ng block screening for Cinemalaya 2026..

1) may willing kaya sumugal/nagshare ng pondo?
2) May manonood kaya :(

[H Y R O @heyrow]

You can decide what you watch, what you spend on, and what you ignore. But if you want to have a say in what the ecosystem becomes, you also have to accept that your participation, or lack of it, is part of what shapes it.
