Go Home and Rest Cristiano Ronaldo, we will always love you.
From today, I so happy that I never have to support Portugal again and from today.. it’s me against Portugal and these set of Useless Players.
Not winning the world cup is not gonna define your career. You've had a tremendous career, you came into a trophyless Portuguese National team and gave them three trophies. You've done your part King ❤️
Cristiano Ronaldo, today might be the last time we’ll see you in the big World Cup stage, we your fans love you so much and no matter what happens out there today, you’ll always be our GOAT. Thanks for always being you🥹😥🧎🏻♂️➡️
A very emotional message to Ronaldo
Ronaldo was booed throughout away games for a whole season. 19 games, 19 different grounds. Yet this guy led Man United to their first Premier League title in 4 years, then clear every major individual award in England: PFA Players’ Player of the Year, PFA Fans’ Player of the Year, PFA Young Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year, Premier League Player of the Season, and the PFA Team of the Year. The first time in EPL something like that will happen.
Do you realize the level of mentality that requires?
Imagine going into a different stadium every week with tens of thousands of people whistling every touch, celebrating every mistake, waiting for you to fail. Most players would play safe, hide from the ball, and let the pressure get to them.
Instead, Cristiano Ronaldo became even more decisive. He demanded the ball more, took more responsibility, scored more goals, and ended the season as the best player in the league by every possible measure.
People talk about talent, but there have been plenty of talented players. Very few have had the psychological strength to thrive under that level of scrutiny and come out with both the league title and every major individual award.
This didn’t happen when he’s probably 10 years at the top for us to say he’s experienced already, 2006/2007. He had 0 Balon D’or as at then. There’s no truer GOAT than this guy.
Bro see how everyone on the timeline and all over the world is just happy for Ronaldo.
The world will win as soon as Ronaldo wins this world cup.
Its long overdue.
He deserves that trophy more than anyone else.

Record newspaper’s beautiful article on Cristiano Ronaldo:
Record on Cristiano Ronaldo:
There is something strange about Portugal's relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo. For more than two decades, we have demanded the impossible from him. And, almost unbelievably, he often delivered it. Now, as the years pass and football reminds us that no one can defeat time, many seem to have chosen to forget.
They have forgotten who permanently put Portugal on the world football map. They have forgotten who transformed a talented national team into one that was respected and feared. They have forgotten who broke record after record, who wore the Portugal shirt hundreds of times, and who was present in moments of glory as well as moments of pain.
Cristiano Ronaldo is not perfect. No athlete is perfect. No human being is perfect. But the ease with which some people try to reduce his career to a missed penalty, a poor performance, or a disappointing result says more about our collective memory than it does about the player himself.
Football has a simple truth: no one wins alone. When Portugal won, the coaches, teammates, staff, administrators, and, of course, the players on the pitch all won together. But if no one wins alone, then no one draws alone either, and no one loses alone.
When the national team fails to achieve a goal, the responsibility belongs to everyone. It is unfair and irrational to turn one player—even if that player is Cristiano Ronaldo—into the sole face of success or failure.
For years, Ronaldo was criticized for not winning trophies with Portugal. Then he won the European Championship and the Nations League. He was criticized for depending on the team. Then he was accused of trying to do everything by himself. He was criticized when he cried, and criticized when he did not cry. The truth is that many of his critics are not looking for balance; they are simply looking for a new reason to attack him.
Cristiano Ronaldo's legacy goes far beyond goals, trophies, and records. He is a rare example of discipline, longevity, and professionalism. A boy from Madeira who left home as a teenager, faced the toughest challenges in world football, and reached the summit through relentless dedication and daily commitment.
At a time when many talents lose their way, Ronaldo became a global reference point. He raised Portugal's name across every continent. He made millions look at our country with admiration. He inspired generations of young players to believe that talent alone is not enough without hard work.
Even away from the pitch, he has remained deeply connected to his roots, his family, and his Portuguese identity. He never abandoned the country where he was born; instead, he carried it as a flag.
The day Cristiano Ronaldo retires will come. That day is closer than it is far away. And when it happens, Portugal will realize what it so often realizes too late: that it witnessed a career that will never be repeated.
Criticism is part of sport, and it should exist. But ingratitude should never be confused with accountability. We can debate decisions, performances, and moments. But we should not allow the emotions of the present to erase the historical significance of what Cristiano Ronaldo represents.
Results fade, and records can be broken, but some figures transcend the game. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of them. And Portugal would be better off if it never forgot that. 🐐❤️
NOTICE HOW NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT YOUR EIBARMAN HATTRICK AGAIN? ???
How does it feel to see that even a Ronaldo's stinker can outclass your goat's best performance in yearssssss 😂😂😂
CRY FOR ME JOR!!!!!
Only Messi fans want to force everyone to accept one player is better, that’s how you know it’s not true.
You people think football is just close control, dribbling in tight spaces, playmaking in between lines, maybe that Messi is the most naturally gifted player ever.
But Ronaldo didn’t just succeed in one system or one type of football. He dominated in England, Spain, and Italy three very different leagues tactically. He’s doing the same at Saudi Arabia a different continent at 40. And Not just “did well,” but top scorer, best player, main man everywhere. The argument is that if you drop him into any football ecosystem fast league, tactical league, counterattacking team, possession team, he still becomes the focal point and produces.
Now let’s go into “Football Mechanics”, not legacy, not mentality or trophies. There’s nobody born of Man that plays football that Strikes the ball better than Ronaldo, Right leg, Weak foot, Headers. He has the best legs. If Messi excel in playmaking, there’s nobody that moves better than Ronaldo. Movement and Positioning.
Then let’s go into “big game personality” argument. Take a look at Champions League knockout stages where the level rises and he doesn’t just participate, he escalates. Late goals, hat-tricks against elite opposition. The belief is simple, when the pressure is highest and everyone tightens up, Ronaldo becomes more decisive, not less. He’s inevitable. Mr Talk and Do.
Then there’s versatility in roles, not just longevity. He started as a flashy winger doing skills and beating players 1v1. Then became a penalty-box striker. Then a pure finisher. Then a header machine. Then a “give me one chance and I’ll score” player. Very few players completely reinvent themselves while staying world-class for over a decade.
Then there’s “repeatability.” Messi might give you genius moments that feel supernatural. But Ronaldo gives you certainty. Not magic every time, but guaranteed output. goals in different ways, against different opponents, under different managers. Left foot, right foot, header, tap-in, counterattack, no dependency on a single system or partner.
Then there’s international football, Messi had Argentina built around him with generations of elite talent eventually peaking together, while Ronaldo dragged Portugal through eras where the squad quality was not comparable to Spain, Brazil, France, etc. And still delivered trophies like Euro 2016 and Nations League, being the face of those runs.
Finally, the mentality argument, not just “he works hard,” He imposes himself on eras. Wherever football goes tactically, physically, or stylistically, he adapts and remains relevant at the top level. That’s why you’ll hear us say “he conquered football,” not just “he played well.”
There’s nobody born of Man that plays Football better than Cristiano Dos Santos Aveiro Ororo Ronaldo.
