@AuthorGFAllen For years, I wanted to be a full-time writer. Then I realized it would be just as miserable as any desk job with deadlines and all that. So now my goal is to just write the books I want and take as much time as I need and publish when they’re ready.
@vickyweberbooks Exactly. I’ve been writing and re-writing my book for 15 years, making it more what *I* want with every version. Following a trend would be too restricting
@Loi_cee A couple of the books I’m reading are fine, but I’m mostly trying to just get through as much of my backlog as I can before the end of the year.
@RWoodsFiction The way I plot is by thinking of what will happen and writing notes. If a scene or a line of dialogue comes to me, I’ll write it. Then later I go insane trying to figure out how to tie everything together.
@ianamikagautam Usually I’m the latter. I want to be able to give all the details of why I hated it. But I’ve also been surprised and reversed my opinion by the end, so I always hope maybe it’ll happen again

@KoalaQuillHQ Don’t forget buying juuuust the right pen for the notebooks. Then another pen for a backup. And another because you never know when you might need a third
