Wearing a mask would probably intercept droplets containing the virus. According to the paper the problem is that masks are reused without cleaning and disposable masks are disposed of after use

Evidence will definitely change over time and we can only make decisions based on the current evidence that is available. If the evidence shows us the truth it should not matter what the rest of the panel thinks
