My heart truly goes out to those who crossed into America illegally, especially the families now torn apart by detainment and deportation. It must be excruciating to watch a loved one taken away, not knowing what comes next. The image of a young girl in despair over her sister’s arrest is heartbreaking, and anyone with a conscience can feel the weight of that pain.
But the reality is, those who wait until they’re apprehended often lose any chance of ever returning legally. As harsh as it sounds, our immigration system doesn’t leave much room for redemption after illegal entry and capture. However, for those who self-deport, who take the initiative to return home voluntarily, there remains a path back through legal and orderly means. In those cases, resources are available to help with the return, and more importantly, they retain a chance to apply and come back the right way.
This tragedy didn’t start with the people; it started with a broken system and a reckless administration. The Biden Administration lured desperate people from around the world into our country under false promises and political motives. They opened the door and implied there would be no consequences, knowing full well that they had no authority to offer such guarantees. And all of it was done at the expense of the American taxpayer, who is now footing the bill for housing, feeding, and processing millions of people who were misled into believing they’d be welcomed without legal process.
The blame lies squarely with those who engineered this disaster. The Democrats, through open-border policies and false compassion, created an environment that encouraged lawlessness and suffering. They set millions up for failure, and the fallout is now hitting innocent families. It’s not just negligence, it’s deliberate deception, and those responsible should be held criminally accountable. No one should be above the law, not even those in government who used their power to enable this humanitarian crisis.

@jimmyjohns the AC at a location in Lubbock, Tx is out. When I was there today, it was 98 degrees and the workers were told to keep on working. It’s been like that for a week…bottled drinks were hot and no telling what else. Help them please.
