@Lexorcyst@0ddsam that’s what art is all about! the best part about being involved in a film community is the discussions and I fully believe that’s what’s lacking on here.
not necessarily horror fans in general, but for twitter horror fans it feels like you can’t have an opinion outside of the general consensus (especially for new movies) without getting people upset. very “go with the status quo for likes” vibes
@0ddsam@Lexorcyst never a discussion!!🗣️ incredibly black and white thinking from many a people on here. I think it’s a lot of people trying to get the attention of actors/directors. they dickride their projects heavy for attention and if you don’t, you’re the worst person alive for some reason.
@moonywit while I agree its annoying to see people shame others for enjoying a movie, I think its fine to dislike and/or criticize a movie. if they think its overhyped then thats their opinion. there are plenty of new ones that I believe were mid that are hyped up bc itll get likes online
