@soycarmencuevas@andymstone and again here regarding the same issue, in case there was any ambiguity in andy’s language as to what ‘this’ is in reference to https://t.co/s3ESGgdo4l
@manipulate Thank you for raising this. While we have already secured impacted accounts, we are now working to restore access to affected individuals. Some people may receive password reset notifications and some may be asked security questions when they try and log into their accounts.
@CharlieeMeister now that they have your email address be vigilant for phishing emails. you’re in someone else’s onboarding funnel now. believe it or not some of these people are held prisoner and forced to scam under threat of violence.
@sujeetsingh0305@InstagramComms@Meta@instagram sorry you got disabled, sujeet. meta is producing policy labels that don’t describe the account’s actual situation, which also makes appeal structurally impossible (you can’t address a reason that’s false). hope you’re able to get a response within the 15 day deadline.
@RounakMeena@instagram sorry that happened. saw you lost your facebook account too in the cascade. good luck with your appeal. watch out for account restoration scammers.
@vhsandchillokc@facebook oof 20 years. sorry that happened to you. how did the attack manifest? for me i would see occasional suspicious login attempts and spear phishing emails. but the account closure was sudden and unexpected.
@ManOnThePen@Meta@facebook was reading their community standards and enforcement report yesterday. they publish every half year. they don’t allow that kind of content. it’s written here https://t.co/FiUWHRq9Jo
