@alvarosoares@NobletStrength Players and coaches have to compete for contracts, so pro/rel doesn’t have any affect in competitiveness at that level. Maybe ownership, but honestly pro/rel cause teams to overextend their finances in ways that hurt them long term.
@MustermannMani@WorldCup__26 Obviously they do have the attention span. It’s Europeans that complain about the duration and start/stop nature of American sports. You guys are like goldfish. You need constant movement.
@DrunkInterlock@MacrodosingPod Yeah, but the you’re assuming the only form of success is winning a national championship. It’s been a tough couple of decades for UT, but we’ve still been better than State. We were in the playoffs literally 2 seasons ago.
@DrunkInterlock@MacrodosingPod They’ve each won one in baseball. Now answer my questions. What is State’s all time winning percentage in football? How many conference championships do they have? How many national championships do they have? What’s their all time record against Tennessee?
@DrunkInterlock@MacrodosingPod The fact that you’re putting a timeframe on it and including other sports should tell you all you need to know. You know that Tennessee has a better football program in every category. Why pretend?
@RazorKingdom@RugsWX@zachTNT It’s well reported that Mizzou didn’t offer him the job. I don’t know why Arkansas make stuff up like this. He’ll probably end up being your head coach, but you don’t have to make up a weird mythology about him.
@tmilrealdeal Bud Adams picked the colors for the oilers because those were his alma mater’s (Kansas) colors at the time. All this “Houston blue” stuff is apocryphal revisionist history.
@NotoriousMJT@TSN_Sports Cold, but usually not freezing. Weather is pretty erratic here so there could even be tornadic weather. Stadium is indoor, though.
@johnalabban4629@RapSheet@MikeGarafolo What are you talking about? The stadium literally right across the river from broadway. It’s probably the stadium in the NFL that has the most bars within walking distance.
