That said, my recent flights with @airindia showed clear improvement..I’d rate them 9/10. The fleet revamp is ongoing and will take time, but safety must remain the top priority.
When was your last flight with Air India to call it a PR game?

@007musk @Akshay001 @airindia I recently flew with air india to couple of destinations, took a 17:55hrs flight with them very recently. The aircraft and the service were great.
This incident though, is extremely terrible and shocking.

The AI171 crash struck the B.J. Medical College intern doctors’ hostel during lunchtime.
Reports say 50–60 interns were present. At least 30–35 lives lost, many more feared trapped or injured.

💔Tragic aviation disaster today.
Air India flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, crashed minutes after takeoff with 242 people on board (232 passengers, 12 crew).
It went down in a densely populated area near Meghani Nagar.

DGCA, AAIB, and Boeing have launched full-scale investigations. The black boxes are being retrieved to unlock the cause…whether it was mechanical, human error, or something else
