@CostaSunglasses you should be embarrassed. Right after I got my prescription sunglasses, the lenses started falling out. I sent in a question and you stated that was not under warranty. Now the frames have broken and I’m sure you’re gonna say that’s not under warranty. $700
@RepGregMurphy@GmOrr9000 As a practicing Neurosurgeon , I cannot believe this would actually come out of one of our legislators. There is no amount of money that you can come up with that is adequate to compensate for the sacrifices that medical students and doctors make.
The only people that can fix healthcare are physicians. The legislators need to engage us to fix the problem. The pharmaceutical industry, insurance industry, and hospital association are the problem. We are the solution.
CMS thought that taking away outpatient procedures would lead to lower medical cost has absolutely backfired. They are now paying 3 to 4 times as much for the exact same test read by the exact same doctor. Hospitals are raping the system.
The advantage plans are an absolute disaster and need to be done away with. The ACA needs to be repealed and physician lead medicine needs to be the New World order.
@DrugChannels@DutchRojas@Health_Affairs My PA-C spent 20 minutes on the phone today trying to get a pure appear/authorization for postop patient to go to rehab. Medicare advantage Humana. Went through the phone tree to 6 phones/people transferred and the last one “no one is here to take your call”, hung up on him
@DutchRojas We can’t get my colleagues to agree on what to get for lunch. Unfortunately, we have so many competing Pacs that most physicians don’t know who to give to to be effective. That’s why we need a universal blanket organization that actually looks out for physician interest.
@DutchRojas Criminal. My son had an echocardiogram. When they scheduled it they only offered the main office. Guess what designation that off campus site has. Cost him $1600 instead of $0 at another facility. 26yo. They should be ashamed
@DrBruggeman Why they thought that giving 80% of what it cost them to care for patients to a private company, that they would run it better and more efficiently than Medicare, which has the lowest overhead of any insurance.🤦🏻♂️
@CraigWilcoxMHA@DutchRojas That’s awesome. I’m glad they’re able to get that. However, that’s not the side of Medicare advantage that I see. I see much longer delays in getting surgeries, approved and denials of rehab for people who clearly need it.
