A Miami Beach city official tells me the agreement to start GTA 6 marketing campaign in Miami Beach as early as Oct. 15 has not been signed yet.

The vote back in Sept was to enter negotiations with Amplify Marketing Inc. Sounds like details are still being hashed out.

I asked if this means Oct 15 will not be the start date since it’s so soon and negotiations are ongoing. He tells me “most likely not”

NEW: Rockstar Games is spending at least $150 million on #GTAVI marketing, according to Miami-Dade Commissioner Rene Garcia, although the figure is said to be "researched".

▪️ Miami-Dade commissioners have raised concerns over Vice City branding at public facilities, including Miami International Airport. A decision on further negotiations is expected October 20, potentially delaying plans.

▪️ The "Welcome to Vice City" Kaseya Center rooftop sign is covered by a $975,000 agreement and will remain up for seven months.

▪️ Miami has approved plans for up to six GTAVI advertising banners worth potentially $1.2 million, starting this Thursday (Oct 15th).

▪️ Miami Beach has authorised negotiations for beachfront advertising worth up to $4 million.
