Cancelling the Parandur airport project was not an ordinary decision. Think about the pressure, lobbying and discussions that must have happened behind the scenes.

Until the CM announced the decision yesterday under Rule 110 in the Assembly, not even a single piece of information was leaked.

No official leak.
No media leak.
No opposition getting advance information.
No pressure tactics becoming public.

The decision was discussed, deliberated, finalised and announced only when it was ready.

That is confidentiality in governance.
That is administrative discipline.
That is leadership.

Parandur is a powerful example of how a government’s most sensitive decisions should be handled behind closed doors, without leaks, until the final announcement.

If DMK genuinely cared about Tamil Nadu's aviation needs:

They would say:
"We understand CM Vijay's decision. Let's find a better location that doesn't displace farmers."

Instead they said:
"This is wrong. The airport must come. Tamil Nadu needs it."

Why?

Because DMK politicians and their proxies quietly bought hundreds of acres around Parandur after the announcement. If Airport comes, they make crores. If Airport cancelled, their land is just farmland again.

CM Vijay just cancelled an airport AND collapsed a real estate scam in one decision. 🔥
