I have a query about a point on the AQA GCSE Statistics paper 1. Does this mean that if the circles in a pictogram don’t line up in vertical columns correctly then M1 M1 A0 for an example like this? Students work in 3rd pic is enough for both M marks but circles don’t line up
Heads of Maths if you’re not already using https://t.co/3qhSoSdBeI then you really need to take a look. Have been playing with the free trial for a week with a v.small sample of our year 10 end of year assessments and it’s a real game changer! Also the support from James is 5⭐️
Excited to share, accepted a part-time teaching role for next year. Giving me time to run workshops with pupils on the core themes from my forthcoming book Learning Habits. One person that retweets, likes and follows will win a free full day of workshops for their school

Looking for a free or cheap pdf editor that I can use to snip up documents for combing, especially merging and remembering exam q’s. Any suggestions? TIA
@gcsemathstutor Is there a school invoice option? I'm head of maths and I know that my team could benefit from this. I tried to DM but was not able. Thanks
Looking at teaching ‘risk’ to my year 12 core maths (L3 maths studies) struggling to find resources… all suggestions/advice very gratefully received! Thanks in advance 😊
@mathsjem In terms of content, at H tier no chain base index numbers. Don’t think anything at F. In the exam Formula are given within the question in AQA, some Q’s are multiple choice, questions are more accessible. Hope that helps a little x
Jet Lewin talks about schools who sit students for the higher GCSE maths paper who they think will fail the foundation paper. Is the school's responsibility helping students to pass an exam, or making sure they have functional numeracy?
