Did you know #homeless women stay in A&E all night to stay safe? 🏥
It’s just one of the many places women stay to hide away from the dangers of the streets. ❌
No #women should have to go through this. Every woman deserves a place to call home, to be seen, heard and feel safe.
Every night, #women in London sleep on park benches, alone and cold, hiding away from city centres for safety.
This is NOT okay! ❌
We calling on #Govt to improve women's rough sleeping services & support them off the street for good.

This is what happens when the @EnvAgency in its own words manages rivers ‘to protect fish and wildlife, not people’. Shocking story in today’s @theipaper iweekend. https://t.co/w9QAfU5N3I
"If you’re sitting or sleeping on the streets all day, perhaps if you’ve already got some physical health problems, breathing problems – any extreme heat can exacerbate that and it can creep on you quite slowly."

Homelessness is a painful and lonely experience which has a lasting impact on mental health.
We give Londoners we support the space, time and help they need to process trauma, develop better coping mechanisms, improve their #mentalhealth and quality of life. #MentalHealthMonth

It just doesn't add up.
A 7% inflation rate means the cost of living is soaring, with increases in prices.
Yet, people forced to use #UniversalCredit only saw a 3% rise in their essential benefits. They are being set up to fail.
We urgently need a review of the #benefitcap.
Londoners are pushed into using the money they need for bills and living costs to pay for their rent, forcing them into hardship, difficult choices and debt.
We urgently need a review of the #benefitcap so Londoners can weather the ongoing #costofliving crisis. #housingbenefit
Can you imagine having to sleep in a dustbin for safety & warmth?
That's what women are forced to do just to stay safe on our streets.
No one should have to do that. Every woman deserves a safe place to call home. #homelessness#homelessnesscharity#WomensMonth2022#IWD#DVA
"Love yourself! Embrace who you are! You are beautiful!"
We love this amazing letter from Zowie, one of our recent clients.
She wrote these inspiring words to help other women facing challenges in life to fight their battles and look forward to a positive future 💪 #WomensMonth
Fantastic way to kick off IWD2022 hearing from @ZaraM01 about being a leader who happens to be a woman, not just a woman in a leadership role. Thanks @Media_Trust
Loving being part of this activation with @SHPcharity this week! Come and grab some Invisible Coffee in Kings Cross if you’re in the area this week #invisiblecoffee
Introducing the #Invisible CoffeeCompany - a faux coffee company created in collaboration with @CPB_LDN.
Every day this week, we'll be #KingsCross offering commuters the chance to pay £3 for an ‘invisible coffee’ to help Londoners get back on their feet.
New analysis from @SHPcharity reveals numbers of new homeless in London up 1/3 in 2 years. But there are solutions writes @Victoria_Spratt in @theipaper iweekend - give the homeless access to the internet and bank accounts & stop making housing conditional https://t.co/ZD8cVZONds
Having a place to call home isn’t just about having four walls to live in.
It’s about having a place to feel safe and warm; a place to connect with our friends and family; a place to get back on your feet. This is Blaise's Story. #Homelessness#RealStory#RealStories#Charity
