“The education crisis isn’t a passing problem. Leaders in education must heed the warning signs and pivot now to avert the worst of this crisis. Our teachers need us. Let’s be there for them.” https://t.co/iJ5j7F4Wwk
Grateful to @CanCodeToLearn & @InkSmith3D for making coding a board so accessible to Ss & teachers with their LandEd seminar series. Elementary Ss can code an automated moisture sensor and water pump while learning about sustainable agriculture - can't wait to try this with Ss!
Waded into coding this spring break - so impressed with @coding_lynx's introductory course for teachers and @InkSmith3D's LandEd seminar. (We can program a bee counter in elementary?!) Both courses so well designed. Excited to share with Ss and open up new avenues for learning!
@bcedchat A3: The Reason I Jump by Naoki Higashida, recommended by a colleague. A transformative book written by a 13 year old youth who lives with autism in a non-verbal world. He candidly answers questions like the title of the book. Heartbreaking and inspiring all at once.
Our “community brain”-Gr4s figuring out their strengths that they bring to our class community! Amazing vibes. Wonderful year of learning ahead! #inclusiveEd#sd41#3BlockModelUDL#plasticenefun
This is how we do social distancing lion dance class! No lion, no problem! Laundry baskets, chairs, bowls will do! Love our lion dance team❤️ #StayAtHome
