@dhume@Twitrannosaurus Why is the presumption that England is the home of football ridiculous?
We created the first football association (FA), with standardised rules and leagues which are the foundation of the modern game. Hence, England is the spiritual home of the modern game.
@UnitedStandMUFC@JacobsBen Ah yes. The man who said Anderson was most certainly not going for £100 mill +
Pulled this out of thin air it seems. Utter helmet
@chuckdavie@clayfm1996@Roundzy Took us from 5th highest revenue in England to 15th and 13th globally to 28th but aye no impact. Revenues heading back up but miles behind still
Haven’t invested well but selling players for x2 cost and no other assets to sell other than academy until we developed those players.
@Im_RobM If they get in the house, bottle with something sweet in (I use my empty red wine bottles, the dregs do it ). The little buggers get in but can’t get out.
@lfc_arrow Depends. If he wants out and it can be agreed off he pops. If it can’t he stays and plays, Nope. If it can’t and he refuses to play and train then yes he will be. That answer it?
@morpethhack@JDunn1973 Mag here. He’s my favourite makem and half my mates are makems. In an England shirt he’s phenomenal. Has to be in the conversation for greatest England keeper of all time.
6 - Despite only coming on in the 75th minute, Dan Burn made the joint most clearances in England's 3-2 win over Mexico (6).
It's the most clearances made by a player subbed on that late into a World Cup game on record since 1966.
Butter.
@Panks80 🥹 this is just lovely, lucky to still have my Dad. He’s done loads of wonderful things for me in my life, but the gift of football is pretty much priceless to me.
Hope we all have a great win to remember 🏴
