Earlier this week, our government announced its support for Jackson Seed Service’s nearly $8 million investment in Lambton–Kent–Middlesex.
Through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund stream of our Regional Development Program, this project will expand the province’s soybean processing capacity, create new jobs, and bring more Ontario-grown products to markets around the world.
Our government is proud to support Jackson Seed Service with a $500,000 investment through the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund (SWODF) to help create 6 new jobs right here in #LambtonKentMiddlesex.
Investments like this strengthen our local manufacturing and agriculture sectors, create a stronger local economy, and create new opportunities for workers.
Congratulations to Jackson Seed Service on expanding the company’s seed processing operations and boosting production capacity – it’s so wonderful seeing a second-generation family business thriving in our community.
