This is probably my last tweet on this damn app for a very long time. This app over the years has completely changed its course; it's become a terminal disease that has affected everyone in one way or another: vitriol, witch hunts, deliberate propagation of misinformation,-
projection of one's insecurities and shortcomings onto others, provoking tweets for monetization, paid propaganda, brazen hypocrisy, and selective outrage & amnesia for one's personal interest… man, I can go on and on. It's a complete shame. Every section is filled with-
@rxarkcode@Fullcourtpass@TheAthletic you're moron, they were coordinating smear campaigns against him, which could've hurt his brand, every right thinking human being with a brain who understands his fundamental right will not overlook it.
I agree. they all make it seem like OKC is all about foul baiting and ‘unethical hoops,’ whereas they are very efficient when it matters. History remembers the winners, not how it was achieved.
Spurs have shot more free throws than OKC so far in this series.
Wemby and SGA have taken the same number of free throws in this series.
Spurs are #6 in free throws in the playoffs. OKC is #14 in free throws in the playoffs.
So the discourse has moved to SGA falling.
The most ridiculous take I keep seeing on the TL is people saying Ijaws are weak or that Rivers State is filled with weak men simply because two politicians from the same state are having a political tussle and one appears to be prevailing.
Were some of you dropped on your head? Or do you expect the entire state and its people to descend into civil war or an assassination spree just to fit your narrative of “strength”?
It’s honestly bewildering. People talk as though Rivers State only exists because of political actors, as if the lives and realities of millions of people mean nothing beyond politics.
Sim is anything but weak.
No soft man would blow up and destroy an entire assembly complex, run a state without a budget, disregard Supreme Court judgments, cripple an entire arm of government, and turn the state into what was almost an ethnic war front. No soft man would remove a revered elder statesman from his position as head of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council while he was bedridden(God spared his life)
He might be many things, but weak is not one of them. Perhaps tactless, but certainly not weak.
self-acclaimed politician. He was completely isolated.
He only banked on some individuals within the party's upper hierarchy to save him from sinking and complete embarrassment. Alas, they failed. Good riddance.
Even in the end, Fubara still managed to create a false narrative that he stepped down out of the love he has for the state, which basically sums up the man he truly is: cunning, shape-shifting and unreliable. He claimed not to have surrendered out of fear, but he
secretly bought forms for himself and his people to run, hoping for an 11th hour miracle.
For those who are still brazenly speculating and analysing rubbish, Fubara simply stepped down because he didn't have and never had the state political structure, which is the base of any-
They kept screaming that Fubara going to APC was a masterstroke and that he has secured second term and outplayed Wike. Outplayed Nyesom Wike?? You people are clowns!
I would have loved to write a whole thread explaining for you people, but it's irrelevant right now. You people will have to witness it with your very eyes😅
it's quite funny when i see people talk about our politics and it's obvious they aren't from the state or even familiar with the people that are in wike's camp, take it from me as a rivers state son, wike can never lose.
he literally had the entire avengers on his side, and they said he was finished😂😂 bro see, take it or leave it. Wike is a whole deity in this state. You wouldn't understand. Don't lose yourself in this social media bubble. Rivers indegenes like us (not settlers) who understand-
