Wishing others success is self-sabotage… or is it your hidden superpower?
The ability to genuinely celebrate others’ victories doesn’t weaken you - it strengthens you. Studies show that people who practice “sympathetic joy” experience lower stress and increased happiness. This mindset creates abundance, not competition.
Why is this a game-changer?
https://t.co/gZfd2xiaXP frees you from envy: Wishing well for others shifts your focus from comparison to inspiration.
https://t.co/n6GBcDsgmb builds stronger relationships: People gravitate towards those who uplift, not those who undermine.
https://t.co/rSbSo7QtBp attracts opportunities: A positive energy field invites success into your life, too.
The magic lies in abundance.
Life isn’t a zero-sum game. By celebrating others, you train your mind to believe there’s enough for everyone—including you.
Start today. Next time someone succeeds, celebrate like it’s your own win. Because, in a way, it is.
Thank you @StanbicIBTC & @StandardBankZA. This has been an incredible 35-year journey that ends today, 10 June 2024. Every single day since 2 Feb 1989, I have been either the CEO, Chairman or a Bank Director. All good things must come to an end. I give God the glory at age 68 🙏🏽
Aliko Dangote, recently announced that this month of June, the company will initiate the distribution of PMS, indicating that through his refinery, the importation of petrol into Nigeria will be discontinued.
Today in History: Dora Akunyili died.
Prof. Dora Akunyili, (1954-2014). The incorruptible DG of NAFDAC who fought doggedly to eradicate unsafe products.
In 2001, she became the NAFDAC boss. By 2006, she reduced fake drugs circulation from 80% to 15%.
Gone but not forgotten!
This video serves as proof that not everything seen or watched on social media should be believed, especially with the influence of AI making it difficult to discern truth from falsehood. VDM's decision to visit the place to confirm the allegations is commendable. However, what about the information shared by the gateman claiming they prevent Nigerians from entering? My two cents: be cautious about retweeting or posting content solely for clicks and followers, lest you end up in trouble like Bobrisky. Regardless of what you contribute to the internet, if things go awry, you'll be the one facing the consequences alone. #mixofusng
Alleged Di§crimination: FCCPC shuts down Abuja Chinese Supermarket.
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has sealed the Chinese supermarket located within the China General Chamber of Commerce in Abuja.
The supermarket came under heavy criticism after some Nigerians alleged that the owners barred Nigerians from making purchases in the supermarket.
The FCCPC officials stormed the supermarket today April 22 and interrogated the Nigerian workers at the supermarket. The workers told the FCCPC officials that CCTV footage showed that the owner of the supermarket, a Chinese lady, Cindy Liu Bei, fled the premises with her family at about 8:26 am today.
The FCCPC officials subsequently shut down the supermarket.
Watching this Igbo woman mistreating this girl in 2024 breaks my heart. Do people still treat human beings like this? 😳💔🤬 This woman couldn't get away with something like this in America. Just imagine the trauma that girl is going through. #mixofusng
