Uncommon advice: If you don't know what to pursue in life right now. Pursue yourself. Pursue becoming the healthiest, happiest, most healed, most present, most confident version of yourself. Then the right path will reveal itself.
A major advantage in life: Refusing to count yourself out. You can lose momentum. Make mistakes. Take the wrong path. Start late. None of it matters as much as your willingness to begin again. Never underestimate the power of deciding you are done living beneath your potential.
Conduct an experiment:
Pretend.
Pretend that you’re capable of more. Pretend that you’re destined for greatness. Pretend that everything you do will work out perfectly for you, with or without your conscious effort applied. Pretend that every single thing in the universe is coordinating together for your maximal growth and enjoyment.
Just pretend.
i dare you to be as delusional as possible for 30 days. compliment strangers. ask for things that feel out of your reach. take shot after shot after shot. you won’t hit them all, but you’ll hit a couple. but what you hit isn’t the point. it’s about rewiring what you see as possible. when you remove your self imposed limits, you realize they were never real to begin with. anything is possible my friend. but it’s up to you to pursue it.
I wish more men AND women would just say, “I wasn’t taught how to date properly. I’m interested in you though, and I’m willing to learn how to show you that in a way you can actually receive. Just be honest, intentional and teachable. I can work with “I don’t know how.” I cannot work with “this is just how I am” while you proceed to stress me the hell out
When people don’t consider you in the same way you consider them, let them go. There’re actually so many people in the world that can match your energy and love you the way you love.
Some people aren't sorry for what they did. They’re uncomfortable that you know who they really are. They don’t regret the betrayal; they regret the exposure.
