@MarcCohenNY Do you have any updates for dental offices? We are begging for information. 49 other states are open for routine dental and governor has not once addressed our concerns. Hair salons are open but dentists are left in the dark. How much longer?
@laurehaines@AndrewArcuri6@RichAzzopardi These are overpriced fluff that are not proven to have any extra effects. High speed suction takes care of 90% of aerosols on its own. We also use isodry. We have n95, gowns, shields, plenty of disinfectant supplies. We do prescreening and temp checks. We are ready!
@RichAzzopardi How can dental care be left out of phase 2-we are more essential and safer than hair salons. Oral health is part of overall health. Without “routine care”, “elective” dental procedures become full blown emergencies. Can’t help with emergency when we go bankrupt.
@MarcCohenNY Thank you for your response! As time goes on my patients “routine” issues are becoming emergencies . Dental health is essential to overall health and dentists cannot provide care if we go bankrupt treating occasional emergencies only for months on end.
@MarcCohenNY how can you leave dental offices out of the guidance for phase 2?? Dental care is more essential than a haircut as well as safer considering our high standards of infection control. We need answers now- when will “routine” (necessary!!!) care be allowed?
@MarcCohenNY@jor689 @JonCampbellGAN When will dental offices be able to return to routine care? Without “routine care”, “elective” dental procedures become full blown “emergencies”. postponing what you call “routine” care for months on end will lead to an oral health crisis. Dentists need answers NOW.
