William Henry Johnson was a soldier of the 369th Infantry, aka the "Harlem Hellfighters", during World War I. He was the first American soldier to receive the Croix de Guerre from the nation of France and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor in 2015.

Excited to be joining Brown Ballerinas for Change, and Julie Ehrlich of the Mellon Foundation to discuss Monument Ave and how art is helping to change the face of Richmond with the folks at Purchase College tomorrow night. It's free to register and attend!
